The United Kingdom Visa Types
- Short term student visa (Student visitor visa)
- Long term student visa (Student visa)
One receives visa for 6 months for the United Kingdom regardless of the period we ask for up to 6 months. The visas of 6 months and longer are given up to 11 months. This could sometimes become an advantage in visa applications for the United Kingdom because it is possible to make an ostensible application of a shorter period for any person who fails to prove balance sufficient for 6-month education in his/her account. For example, he/she may appear on the visa to receive 2-month foreign language education but may receive 6-month education in reality. This is useful with respect to the balance amount to appear in the account. The most important visa documents in the United Kingdom are the bank letter, abstract account and letter of intent written with an explanatory language.
1. Short Term Student Visa (Student Visitor Visa)
There is no condition of English level for application. It is given for courses with maximum period of 11 months. The visa period cannot be extended from the United Kingdom.
- a) Documents to be Prepared by Eduventure Abroad Education Consultancy
– Documents related to the education to be received,
– Accommodation details,
– Documents specifying your travel plan.
- b) Documents to be Prepared under the Control of Eduventure Abroad Education Consultancy
– Your passport valid for minimum 6 months from the moment when you plan to enter in the United Kingdom and you former passports if any.
– If you are employed, your payroll for the last 3 months, the letter indicating that you have been given leave from your business place and that you will continue to work there when you turn back and your insurance inventory for the last 3 months.
– If your family is employed with payroll, their payroll for the last 3 months and the company letter indicating the position and period of employment of your family.
– If your family is owner of company, the certificate of activity received from the chamber of industry and commerce, tax board not indicating loss, circular of signature, coy of official gazette.
– If your family is self-employed, tax board not indicating loss, the treasury stock belonging to you or your family if any, repo, bond breakdowns, credit card extracts, title deeds of land, apartment and shop, vehicle licenses
– Documents indicating that you could effort the costs of education, accommodation and living in the United Kingdom

- c) Documents to be Prepared by the Student
– Certificate of identity register copy
– 3 photographs taken within the last 6 months
– Student certificate if you are a student
– Your diplomas if you are graduate. (temporary certificate of graduation, if you are in the course of graduation)
– Document indicating the military service status of male candidates who are not students
– Photocopy of the certificate of marriage if you are married
– Document(s) indicating English education that you have received up to date if any
– Visa fee
2. Long Term Student Visa (Student Visa)
It is necessary to have English proficiency of minimum Intermediate (CEFR B1) level for application. English level should be proved with an internationally valid examination result document. The visa period can be extended from the United Kingdom.
- a) Documents to be Prepared by Eduventure Abroad Education Consultancy

- b) Documents to be Prepared under the Control of Eduventure Abroad Education Consultancy
– Your passport valid for minimum 6 months from the moment when you plan to enter in the United Kingdom and you former passports if any.
– The original bankbook received from your bank branch, indicating that you could effort the costs of education, accommodation and living in the United Kingdom the United Kingdom
– The deposit to be indicated in the bank should have been deposited in the account minimum 28 days before the date of visa application and remain in the account after the visa is concluded. The amount to be kept in the account;
– The amount to be kept in the account for those who want to receive education in London: Education fee + minimum 1.000 pounds for each month
– The amount to be kept in the account for those who want to receive education outside London: Education fee + minimum 800 pounds for each month

- c) Documents to be Prepared by the Student
– Minimum one of the following examination result certificates indicating your English level;
– IELTS: Minimum 4,0 from all sections
– TOEFL: Reading 8, Listening 13, Speaking 19, Writing 17
– PEARSON: Minimum 36 from all sections
– TOEIC: Reading: 275, Listening: 275, Speaking: 120, Writing: 120
– PET: Minimum Borderline from all sections
– FCE, CAE, CPE, BEC: Minimum Weak from all sections
– 3 photographs taken within the last 6 months
– Certificate of identity register copy
– Visa fee
After the documents are prepared;
The consultants of Eduventure Abroad Education shall fully complete the visa application form together with you. After completing the form, appointment shall be taken on/at any date and time convenient for you and you will be given consultancy service in detail about consulate contact details and the things you should perform in the consulate while the file prepared is delivered to you.
Short Notes;
While English translations of certain documents are required, photocopies of other documents are sufficient. Our consultants shall give you the detailed information in this regard. Our consultants shall inform you about the necessary documents if the student is younger than 18.
